Authentication

Leapfin requires read-only access to retrieve data from your snowflake warehouse.

Step 1: Create a new user for Leapfin on your snowflake account. Note down the username and password of the user created. See instruction on how to create a user.

Step 2: Grant the the new user with read-only role. See instruction on how to create read-only roles.

Step 3: Log into your snowflake account and note down your Account Name.

• Find account name in new console

• Find account name in classic console

Step 4: Note down the name of the warehouse to be used by Leapfin.

• Find warehouse name in new console

• Find warehouse name in classic console

Step 5: Log into Leapfin Platform and navigate to Integration page

Step 6: Click on "Connect" button next to "Snowflake", then enter the username, password, account name, and warehouse name you noted down in previous steps

Data Sources

After authentication, you need to work with Leapfin team to define the data queries for Leapfin to pull data from your snowflake warehouse.
